Nature Tots provides a fun, educational experience for children ages 3-5 that nurtures their curiosity about the natural world while helping them to develop social and physical skills. Based at the Walker Nature Center, campers enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor activities that encourage creativity and exploration. Activities are centered around a weekly theme and include nature walks, group games, arts and crafts, and music. A daily snack is served. At least one staff member for every six campers.

Spend mornings training to be a future lifeguard. Learn the roles and responsibilities of a lifeguard, improve swimming skills and practice beginner level rescues. Afternoons include traditional camp activities such as group games and free swim time. Note: Participation in Junior Lifeguarding does not result in American Red Cross (ARC) certification.

This is the ideal camp for the first-time camper! Campers will enjoy swimming, arts and crafts, games, sports, and nature walks. Our staff provides a safe and secure environment for young children while making sure they have a blast. Camp shirts are required for this camp. NO camp on 6/19 or 7/4.

Come join us for this high energy camp with one-week sessions! Enjoy a variety of sports and games: basketball, soccer, kickball, dodgeball, hockey, baseball and more ...nonstop fun. We’ll also discuss nutrition and the importance of stretching. Our camp is coached by professional staff who are trained to encourage maximum participation, good sportsmanship, and above all, FUN! We will go swimming at the RA pools and enjoy classic summer camp activities. Sportsters is located at beautiful Lake Anne Park, featuring a multipurpose court, practice wall, tennis courts, sand volleyball pit, spray fountain, playground and pavilion, just minutes from baseball and soccer fields. As our most popular camp, Day Camp provides the ultimate camp experience. In addition to swimming, games, arts and crafts, science and nature exploration, Day Campers will learn the basics of teamwork, responsibility and exploration. Camp shirts required for this camp. NO camp on 6/19 or 7/4.

Join our enthusiastic tennis staff for drills and skills, on/off court games and athletic skill development. RA tennis instructors will teach tennis lessons Monday through Thursday and include pickleball fun on Fridays. Campers may spend part of their day playing group games and sports & fitness drills, along with daily swimming breaks to cool off. Lessons that are missed due to rain will be made up on Friday. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE DC WHEELS AND METROTEK SKATEBOARDS! This camp was designed by skaters for skaters. Want to learn how to skateboard or learn new tricks? This camp is for you. We will visit a local skate park and cool off at a RA pool in the afternoons. Skateboard, pads and helmet required. NO camp 6/19 and 7/4.

IncrediFlix camp is all about the fun and excitement of making movies! Campers will work in age appropriate groups and go through all of the steps that Hollywood producers go through from “Action” to “That’s a Wrap!” Programs focus on creativity, cooperation, and fun fun fun! This popular camp for teens will offer engaging activities through group challenges, icebreakers, and games Emphasis will be on team building, leadership and building positive relationships. NO camp 6/19 and 7/4.

In a time when teenagers are becoming increasingly more glued to technology, our camp takes teens and thrusts them into nature, teaching them valuable lessons about the outside world, while simultaneously molding them into capable young adults. Counselor-In-Training is an experience- based learning program and our CITs are a valued part of our summer camps. They will explore principals of effective leadership and gain practical experience in these skills as leaders in our own Reston Camps. For those teens looking to work with kids or interested in working as a camp counselor, this camp is for you! Gain valuable job experience while developing leadership, communication skills and responsibility. CIT Shirt is required for this camp. NO camp 6/19 and 7/4.

Where can campers learn how to kayak, stand-up paddle, and learn about the watershed of Reston all in a week? We focus on water safety, teamwork, and responsibility all while having fun with races, relays and scavenger hunts on the lakes of Reston. All watercraft and safety equipment are provided. A new adventure every day! The fun may include laser tag, escape rooms, local museums, water parks, local caverns, kayaks and fishing, baseball games, trampoline parks, rock climbing, frisbee golf, tubing and more.
