Nature Tots - 206120101

Nature Tots provides a fun, educational experience for children ages 3-5 that nurtures their curiosity about the natural world while helping them to develop social and physical skills. Based at the Walker Nature Center, campers enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor activities that encourage creativity and exploration. Activities are centered around a weekly theme and include nature walks, group games, arts and crafts, and music. A daily snack is served. At least one staff member for every six campers.

Registration begins Monday, January 29 at 8:30 a.m. for RA Members and Monday, February 5 at 8:30 a.m. for Non-members.

Become a nature detective and use your senses to experience the natural world. What do you see? Smell? Hear? Feel? Use magnifying glasses to search for the tiniest of creatures. Wade in the stream to discover what critters hide below the water’s surface. Close your eyes and solve mysteries using your sense of touch and smell. Listen to the sounds of the forest and play a sound matching game. Use your nature detective skills to solve an animal mystery along the trail. Can you find the hidden treasure? Make a craft each day. No camp on Wednesday, June 19 in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.
