Calling all fairies young and old! Stroll along a woodland trail decorated with fairy houses, and vote in the fairy house contest. Search for hidden fairies and colorful mushrooms. Sip tea and enjoy a story read by the Fairy Queen. Make a craft, and do some fairy house construction. Children and adults are encouraged to wear fairy costumes.

Adult volunteers are invited to explore Reston's natural areas and help gather information about the wildlife species that share our community. Basic training in wildlife identification and count methods is provided at the optional classes, which precede count days.
