Bring the whole family for an evening of good old fashioned fun. Relax by the flickering flames, smell the woodsmoke, and enjoy a fireside program led by a naturalist from the Walker Nature Center. There is no better place to feel the warmth of camaraderie. All are friends who gather around a campfire. S'mores or other campfire treats provided. Meet a creative cast of characters, including some real animals, along our nature-themed Trick-or-Treat Trail and inside our decked-out Halloween House. Enjoy apple cider, popcorn and games. Children and adults are encouraged to wear non-scary costumes. This is NOT a horror show or a haunted house, but does include sound and light effects.

STEAM workshops integrate science, technology, arts and math education while encouraging problem solving, inquiry and creativity. Curious minds will explore a variety of nature topics, participate in laboratory investigations and make take home projects.
