Wildlife Counts and Classes - 206201205

Adult volunteers are invited to explore the natural areas of Reston and help gather information about the wildlife species in our community. Counts will meet at the Walker Nature Center for check-in and assignments. Volunteers will caravan in personal vehicles to a variety of habitats around Reston. Beginner and expert counters are welcome. Beginners will be paired with an experienced counter.

Join us for a half-day annual bird count. Meet local bird experts, learn tips on identification and have fun while helping obtain important information about our feathered friends. Results will be shared electronically after the count. Register by May 31.
