Join our Reston Camps staff as we spend mornings with an Art Instructor developing critical thinking and creative expression through contemporary art methods and techniques. Create a variety of hands-on art projects that inspire learning in fun, creative, and meaningful ways. Reston Camps staff will keep campers engaged in the fun each afternoon with traditional camp activities such as outdoor games, nature walks, and daily swimming at RA pools. Presented in partnership with Tephra Institute of Contemporary Art. NO camp 7/4.

Explore the possibilities of art! Using a variety of materials, this session combines scientific exploration and the creative process to create the messiest and silliest of art projects. Come make art at camp that your parents would never let you do in the house! Campers will look at how artists today use color in their paintings and try their hands at activities such as sun-printing, observational drawing, color-mixing, and more!
