Adult volunteers are invited to explore Reston's natural areas and help gather information about the wildlife species that share our community. Basic training in wildlife identification and count methods is provided at the optional classes, which precede count days.
Classes and counts meet at the Walker Nature Center. On count day, participants will caravan to various locations around Reston. Beginner and expert counters are welcome. For registration assistance, contact [email protected] or 703-476-9689 ext. 3.
